I wrote my own personal account of how I am thankful for my single mom, but I also want to give a shout out to all single parents. I grew up in a divorced household, and I remember feeling isolated at times. There are now many online resources for single parents that can help them obtain information.

I am a single parent of 2 girls (age 10 and 14). If I may give a shameless plug; I just launched a podcast called Tales of a Single Parent (http://www.talesofasingleparent.com) and I invite all single parents to check it out and let me know what you think and what you’d like me to address in future shows. I started it because sometimes I do feel alone and scared and I know other single parents do as well. I want to connect with other single parents and more importantly, do my part to help inspire, motivate and support the single parent community.
